Serving Virginia for more than 20 years, Braley & Thompson provides therapy and counseling services for adults, adolescents, children, couples and families throughout the state. Our services are available for anyone in the community and to those already involved in our foster care program. We offer confidential therapy in a relaxed and welcoming environment to assist individuals in coping with a variety of problems and concerns. Our service
providers are licensed and experienced, with many different areas of expertise to meet each person’s specific needs. Referrals for Braley & Thompson’s Outpatient Counseling Services come from many community sources, including schools, courts, social services, private foster care and adoption agencies, jails, community health centers and family and friends as well as those who are seeking
confidential therapy for themselves. We provide comprehensive care to include case management as well as ongoing communication with referral sources and connection to related services, such as psychiatric care, support groups and other local programs.

We accept Medicaid, Va. Premier, Medicare and many private insurance plans. Payment plans are also available for those without insurance. New appointments are generally available within one week. Saturday hours may also be available. Please contact us for more information or to make a referral.
